Saya punya satu lagu instrument yang saya bisa putar berulang-ulang selama dua-tiga jam. Ya, sesuai judul, dreamland-nya Dewa Budjana. Kalau insomnia saya sedang kambuh atau saya sedang lembur kerja sampai jam tiga, pasti lagu ini menemani saya, diulang berkali-kali.

Sumpah deh, setiap lagu ini diputar rasanya nyaman, damai dan tentram. Jalankan MP3 player lalu aktifkan repeat mode-nya, play Dreamland – Dewa Budjana dan bekerjalah saya sampai pagi…. Atau pasang earphone ke telinga saya dan pejamkan mata…

Selain album Home, ada album religi Hindu yang diproduseri oleh Dewa Budjana. Kalau tidak salah nama albumnya jalan kebenaran. Di dalam album ini Budjana menggaet beberapa penyanyi dan salah satunya adalah Trie Utami. Album ini juga saya suka, walau saya beragama Islam namun yang saya suka dari album ini adalah unsur-unsur filosofi kehidupan yang disampaikan, tentunya juga kualitas lagu yang sudah tidak diragukan lagi.

Ok, saya kembali berkutat dengan insomnia dan coding-an web kerjaan saya…

Saya pertama kali kenal band ini dari majalah HAI sekitar tahun 2004an. Lihat stylenya, techno pop, wow… seperti apa itu menurut saya yang hanya tahu band-band dengan aliran mainstream. Huntinglah saya di rentalan cd-cd bajakan. Pertama kali saya dengar, unique!!! Yah.. apalagi pribadi saya yang suka mencoba hal-hal baru, saya langsung jatuh cinta dengan mereka.

Saya suka looping dan samplingnya, suara-suara sintetisnya, kreativitas mereka, saya suka semua hal dari mereka!!! Dari mereka jugalah, saya yakin bahwa band-band indie selalu menawarkan hal-hal yang unik, yang jarang kita dengar dari media televisi yang tugasnya hanya menyiarkan apa yang mayoritas orang suka.
